Neville Walker - Managing Director - UK Chartered
Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney
Neville worked at GEC-Marconi IP in 1987; moved to private practice in
1989, then to BTG where he managed the MRI IP portfolio, working in
electronics and telecoms. In 1997 he handled licensing and IP due
diligence during the floatation of Scipher. After a short period at
Motorola, he started ipconsult in 2001 and now focuses on SME
businesses, assisting them to protect and optimise their IP.
David Edwards - UK Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent
David has 16 years experience in the patent profession initially in
private practice where he filed and prosecuted patents mainly in the
mechanical field. For the last seven years, David has had a more
commercial role advising on corporate M&A type activity negotiating
and drafting IP agreements, mainly in licensing and collaborations.
Allister McManus LLB LLM MITMA ETMA - UK Registered Trade Mark
Attorney & European Trade Mark Attorney
Allister is a UK Registered Trade Mark Attorney & European Trade Mark
Attorney with a Business Law degree and Masters in IP law. He has worked
with ipconsult for over 5 years. Allister deals with contentious &
non-contentious trade mark work & has experience in UK, Community Trade
Marks and the Madrid Protocol international filing system. Allister also
assists clients on trade mark litigation issues, copyright matters and
licensing. Prior to qualifying as a Trade Mark Attorney, he worked for 5
years at local Southampton firm Eric Robinson Solicitors.
Roland Wilding BSC ETMA - European Trade Mark Attorney
Roland is a European Trade Mark & Design Attorney who has worked with
ipconsult for over 3 years. He has been a professional representative at
the Community Trade Mark Office since 2001 & has advised companies large
& small for over twenty years. Roland deals principally in all aspects
of contentious & non-contentious Trade Mark work but also advises on
Design and Copyright matters.
Andrew Kenny - Trainee Patent Attorney
Andrew started as a trainee patent attorney in 2010. Before this he
worked as an engineer on electrical and mechanical machinery and related
electronic and computerised control systems in industry and the military
in the UK and the USA. Andrew has worked on patents, designs, and trade
marks, from prosecuting applications to infringement issues.
Rebecca Mack - Trainee Patent Attorney
Rebecca Graduated in Zoology and worked for six years at HSBC bank
before starting at ipconsult in 2008 as the Office Manager. In 2012
Rebecca commenced as a Trainee Patent Attorney.
Elisabeth Farrer - Renewals Manager
Elisabeth graduated in Business Studies at University Fumec (Brazil) and
is responsible for Renewals and also provides administrative support to
Greg has 25 years experience in the patent profession and has managed
large and small departments within industry, private practice as well as
working for a US law firm. He planned and managed the transfer of
several large IP portfolios including the transfer of a patent portfolio
of around 1700 cases. He specialises in setting up, and running IP
management systems and training staff.
